Synopsis:
Based on Veronika Marék’s famous book. Tommy is frightened of the dark. When he sees a dog he just runs away. How can such a timid little boy ever become a pilot? Only the lion can help Tommy to conquer his fears. But then the lion disappears.

The main characters of the animated series, based on the books by Judit Berg, are the Verdies, tiny inhabitants of the Lakeside. Their primary task is to protect the Reed Sea from the Grimps. The series presents the eventful happenings of a full year, from spring to winter, from the awakening of nature to the freezing of the Reed Sea.
