Once upon a time, there was a crawling tortoise. The tortoise was told that as long as it keeps going, it will reach the goal. But, why reaching the goal? The story is a reflection of the education system in Asia. High school students aimlessly pursue the one and only goal – getting into the perfect university. But what is next?

What will be after death? A lot of people thinking about this question. A lot of groups have very different opinion but majority of tham have one thing similar. Almost all religions are convinced that they are right. I wrote this movie, with my friend Karel Vžtrovsků, in time when we were slowly breaking out of the Christian prison in our minds, where we grew up and where we were imprisoned for a long time.

Lake is liquid, inanimate, emotionless. Like blood flowing through a body, the water circulates and sustains, bringing life to its surroundings. In this video, life is continuously reborn through the raindrops, through the terrain and into the air. The beauty of this process is juxtaposed with the songwriter’s perspective, someone who is detached and yearning to feel the full breadth of human emotion.
