A noble man awaiting to meet his beautiful betrothed lady receives quite a shock upon her arrival. Her pompous dress seems to a little bit too big to fit into the room. Despite the obvious problem, she is intent to not lose face.

What will be after death? A lot of people thinking about this question. A lot of groups have very different opinion but majority of tham have one thing similar. Almost all religions are convinced that they are right. I wrote this movie, with my friend Karel Vžtrovsků, in time when we were slowly breaking out of the Christian prison in our minds, where we grew up and where we were imprisoned for a long time.

How will she get back to her parents and the world of the living? Even if the story deals with the world of death this film written by a Mexican writer and made by Czech animator is very cute and everything turns out fine in the end.

The audiovisual experiment [A]SPHX was made thorugh the conscious deformation of the digital process. Visual material that would usually get thrown out is transformed in a “two-dimensional” format into distinct and dynamic color fields animated by a minimalist beat, inspired by glitch art and the principles of absolute film.
