The main character is a blue headed matchstick, that embarks on a journey in every episode and always returns to the box at the end of lots of strange, playful and imaginative adventures. A single matchstick, an easy-to-use object and at the same time opportunity for creative experiences that evoke everyone’s fantasy world.

A mysterious box arriving at the door disturbs Salini’s peaceful routine leaving her paralysed and obsessed with discovering the contents of the box. I poured so much of myself into this project and have fallen in love with stop motion as well as the weird and wonderful world that Salini lives in during this process. The patience and care needed to create it has taught me a lot about the gentleness and love that we owe to ourselves and each other.
