Winners of Annecy Festival 2026

After a swelteringly hot week, the grand opening of the Cité internationale du cinéma d’animation, memorable screenings and inspirational meetings, it’s a wrap for the 2026 Annecy Festival.

On Saturday 27th June, during the Closing Ceremony, the jury revealed its highly anticipated list of winners.

The International Animation Film Market handed out its Mifa Animation Industry Award, a prize honoring professionals whose latest achievements have had a striking impact on the industry.

This year, Mifa chose to reward professionals from seven production companies, standard-bearers for French animation at the 2026 Oscars:

This triple Oscar selection denotes a milestone year for French animation filmmaking, showcasing the creativity, innovation and excellence of the French studios that continue to draft the history of the 7th Art.
