It Starts With is a mixed media animation short about characters making tiny teacups and also falling in and out of love. Made using digital tools and hand painted backgrounds, it’s a watercolour ode to love and friendship.
The main character finds a magic wand and runs amok using magic. The elves who guard the wand are entertained by his tricks so much that they finally decide to join him.

The motivation of this film is to refocus on the female character, Iris, and to retell the old story from her point of view in the social media era.
