Synopsis:
The film depicts an initially empty room. A ball bounces in through the window, and a boy enters to retrieve it and leaves.

This animated video clip is made using traditional animation using ordinary pens and cheap paper. Crumpled and forgotten. No one had taken it out of their backpack since the last summer vacation many years ago. Flipping through the pages, we find old confessions of love, leaflets warning against drugs and wild doodles.

A story of a man with a very dense eyes who sees all the surrounding reality only after seven years. The consequence of the eye defect translates into the mental immaturity of the man, lack of understanding of the present and belated reflections on long-gone facts. The man is never mature enough for his age and constantly lingers on the past.

Łona and Webber present their second single: ‘#nikiforszczecinski’ – a tribute to street art in all its forms. The song tells the story of a street artist from Szczecin who arranged his works from newspaper clippings, plants, candles, bricks and plush rats. The window sill and the gate of the tenement building in which he lived served as his very own exhibition space. The creator of this video – Lump – is one of the most recognisable street art artists in Poland.

Spider and Flies is an animated variation about a poem for children written by the polish author Jan Brzechwa. It tells the story of an old but cunning spider, eager for a meal. The story can also be read as a metaphor of a consumptive nature of developing towns.

An alarm clock wakes a man who washes his face, has breakfast, drives his car to work, spins records, returns home, and takes his pills. It’s a world of circles – often seen from above: an espresso cup, a stairwell, the pills, and the records spinning. At the dance where the music plays, the rhythms evoke images of a butcher slicing head cheese, gears driving other wheels and levers, a combine churning out bales of hay, a butcher cutting chunks of meat for a stew, and boxers punching. The Global Animation Community unites in solidarity with Gaza to form AC4PAL. AC4Pal was created to support the work of Haneen Koraz, an animator based in Gaza who has been running animation workshops with displaced children and women across the region. The project “To Gaza with Love: A Global Anijam” brings together 329 short films from over 50 countries, created by animators, students, and studios in a collective act of solidarity with the people of Gaza.
