Nikita Diakur got a special jury award for his film "UGLY" at Animafest 2017., and then a year later he came back with "FEST“ and won The Golden Zagreb Award for creativity and innovative artistic achievement: the jury praised his film for bringing fresh perspective, digital innovation and creative use of contemporary technology while referencing modern subcultures.
Daria Kashcheeva studies animated film at FAMU in Prague. In Daughter, her Bachelor’s puppet animation, Daria experiments with camera motion and explores the topic of father-daughter relationship. The project was pitched within the CEE Animation Forum 2018. The film has a premiere at Annecy Animation Film Festival and got Cristal for the best Student film and Young Jury award in Student film section.
Dina Velikovskaya was born in Moscow in 1984. In 2005 she graduated from the Art school named after the Memory of 1905 with a specialization in scenic design. Since 2006 she has been studying at the The Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK).
