The Wellspring and the Tower
Synopsis:
When the wellspring that sustains the ecosystem dries out, its cry for help triggers a process which uses all of the world’s resources to build a tower. This seems to have a destructive effect on the environment, but the tower has only one purpose: to resurrect the wellspring.

A garden party is held in the park of the baroque castle: the landscape is idyllic, the company is cozy, the food is aristocratic, and everything is traditional and refined. At the same time, in the other part of the garden, cages rattle, ropes rustle, and foxes whine. From the initial idyll, the film slowly moves to another level of pleasure, and a cruel game of “fox throwing” begins, which becomes increasingly bloody and inhumane.

Animated music video created for French-Polish band Loa Frida. The song talks about those moments when we’re not entirely sure which way is up. Since the clip had a small budget, we decided to create it as a series of looping vignettes, which add up to create one large, detailed image. Each vignette is meant to evoke some strange sensation that the song is talking about, without being too literal.

The experimental animated film Resting fog depicts the process of reliving a memory – and the disintegration that follows – through a series of associative images. The film takes place in a fictional, dreamlike sanatorium surrounded by the sea and the setting sun. Faceless shadows wander between the walls of a secluded, forgotten place, waiting to dissolve into their surroundings as darkness sets in, thus becoming permanently lost in a haze of oblivion.

Artistic beginnings repeat. One hand is the same hand, but the other becomes an ear. Unexpectedly, the Process is heard: it sounds clearer than the shapes that catch the eye.

Everyone goes home from the playhouse once. A child waits for her mother in vain, so he starts looking for her. Over varied locations we see two fates, two lives, which may never cross each other.

The boy hesitates, but he isn’t strong enough to break up. Finally the girl calls it quits, and when they meet again, the girl is with her new boyfriend.The boy is shocked, he wants to escape, so he tries to hitchhike. The surrealistic journey reflects his mood swings.

Somewhere, on an oceanic island, the forces of nature are still at work as in primeval times. A young, naive female tiger lives there in harmony with herself and nature. When her awakening femininity is noticed by an older male tiger, the young tigress is getting more and more scared by his heated approach.
