A schizophrenic boy witnessess the killing of a deer in the forest and starts running back home. A myriad of strange occurrences along the way worsen his condition. The safety of his home is only an illusion, and a series of visual stimuli forces him to go back to the beginning of the story in order to try and change the sequence of events.

Imbued Life is a film about a young woman’s connection with the life force of nature. She uses her talent for taxidermy to “restore” the animals to their natural habitat. However, the true search for the answers begins when she starts finding a roll of undeveloped film in each of the animals she treats. Her obsession drives her to seek the explanation of the connection she feels, haunting her dreams, as well as her waking moments.

On the one hand it’s dirty work and on the other hand gorgeous product. This is a film about making food and consuming it. The producing part itself is not always as clean as we hope, yet we turn the blind eye as long as the end product looks desirable enough. The film plays with the fantasy of making food and about the satisfaction we get when having delicious products.
