You know, it’s like having a dog, and it chooses someone else as its owner, not you. And as soon as the “other” rings the bicycle bell, the dog, happily wagging its tail, rushes to catch up with him.
The story begins with a lazy morning of an old lady who lives alone with a few pets. While preparing for a walk with her dogs, the grandma falls on the floor and never gets up. The pets stay at home, helpless and alone. Their attempts to find some food in empty bowls and the waste end in failure. Meanwhile, the flat becomes infested by a swarm of flies and filled with odour of the decomposing corpse. Slowly, as time passes, the closed, claustrophobic space transforms into a battlefield. For one of the dogs the corpse of the owner becomes a source of food and a chance for survival. For the second one the corpse remains a sanctity, a relic of its formerly loving owner.

This visual story captures the essence of the track, blending the surreal with the rhythmic energy of an all-night adventure.
Incorporating Inari’s trademark style and intriguing outlook on life, her film peels all the flimflam off toxic masculinity and reveals the bare reality behind it.
During dinner, “the system” feeds the few who consume all the resources while the rest survive on scraps. Inevitably, the struggle for what remains leads to catastrophic change. The offspring of this transition turns out not to be a sign of hope, but the spitting image of the parents.
The man behind the table is driving. With anxiety, memories from his childhood, from the war, his parents in the ghetto for the Jews and all the possible forms of aggression that reached him came flooding back to him, until the day he sat down at the table to answer…
A lonely man roams around an absurd world in pursuit of happiness. Perhaps it’s Diogenes, perhaps not.
An animated documentary exploring neurodiversities such as dyslexia, following the journey of an ant as a metaphor for functioning outside of a system. The film is a self reflection on my own journey through life and of feeling out of place in the world.
The images were made with coloured dry transfer lettering. The task: The make shapes appear as they were coming closer to the viewer as if it were a frantic race through the jungle.
