Animated music video created for French-Polish band Loa Frida. The song talks about those moments when we’re not entirely sure which way is up. Since the clip had a small budget, we decided to create it as a series of looping vignettes, which add up to create one large, detailed image. Each vignette is meant to evoke some strange sensation that the song is talking about, without being too literal.

Queens of the Stone Age performs in the music video “Go with the Flow” from the album “Songs for the Deaf” recorded for Polydor Records. The features the band playing on the back of a Chevrolet pickup truck driving down a desert highway. Visually, the band is rendered in black and white against a red background.

The animated video clip was created as a closing ceremony at UMPRUM in Prague. Four second-year students were challenged to combine their different approaches to visuals and animation itself. The central motifs of the film are the range of cartoon animation and the building of friendship, metaphorically represented in the theme of this work.

Neta (1987, Jerusalem) makes short films, illustrations, titles and typography, and has directed and designed for clients such as MTV, Barneys New York and HBO. She holds a BA (Hons) and a recent MDES degree in Visual Communication, both from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. She lives in Tel Aviv with her partner Lior, her daughter Zohara and her dog, Gili.
