Synopsis:
Loud music, hectic crowds, baby cries, car horns, rebuilding, sirens… Sometimes we want to run away… But where?

An emotional pilgrimage. City mirrored in space and music. Music transformed into colors, rhythm into editing. EO DE ME is an experimental visualization of music inspired by changes in human emotions. These changes in the image of the FAMU student are also reflected in the varied range of animation techniques used.

The animated video clip was created as a closing ceremony at UMPRUM in Prague. Four second-year students were challenged to combine their different approaches to visuals and animation itself. The central motifs of the film are the range of cartoon animation and the building of friendship, metaphorically represented in the theme of this work.

Lake is liquid, inanimate, emotionless. Like blood flowing through a body, the water circulates and sustains, bringing life to its surroundings. In this video, life is continuously reborn through the raindrops, through the terrain and into the air. The beauty of this process is juxtaposed with the songwriter’s perspective, someone who is detached and yearning to feel the full breadth of human emotion.

Henry meanders through Wyrmlands, the remains of England consumed by the giant worm of capitalism. Amidst his despair, he recalls an act of kindness. As a child, innocent and loving, he saved an injured worm. Perhaps salvation is possible if he can reconnect with his inner child.

A poetic video clip from the workshop of the Máj author pair introduces us to an imaginary landscape in which, with the help of simple symbolism, we follow the problematic relationship between a man and a woman. The graphic aesthetic is dominated by the motif of the hands that the heroes manipulate against the background of the themed horizon.
