Synopsis:
The Arcadian atmosphere of a hazy underworld hosts unusual characters: an Illusionist, a Civil Entity, a Wooden Puppet and a silent, but dangerous Swordsmen. Their mysterious experiences are an allegory of the relationship between the now extinct tradition of European combat swordsmanship and the doctrine of pragmatic political action. Is the end of the allegory also a beginning of an instructive misunderstanding? The film is inspired by the motifs from the books Flower of Battle (1410) by Fiore dei Liberi and A Dialogue in Hell between Machiavelli and Montesquieu (1864) by Maurice Joly.

The too fast pace of life in polluted cities makes people sick. Neuroses are an everyday occurrence. Overcrowding, pollution and noise are enemies no. 1. What can happen to a man who is irritated by some sound while he wants to read his newspaper in peace, is the subject of this film. From a calm everyday person exposed to constant sound bombardment, a person becomes dangerous. He is able to tear down and destroy. But maybe it’s all just a fairy tale, because each of us carries everything that accumulates in us during our short human life.

During the final race, the two men in the lead are competing for more than the Grand Trophy; they are fighting for the affection of a lady and fulfilment of their erotic fantasies. Meanwhile, the small port town prepares for the arrival of a large ocean liner and its dashing captain. Inspired by the art of Vasko Lipovac, Veljko Popović created an animated short marked by unique aesthetics. Painted in vivid colours of summer and with a dash of the erotic, its is a comedy that captures the spirit of a small Mediterranean town.
