When a cry for help interrupts his morning tea, he and his mosquito friends Tine and Bine rush to the rescue. Together, they stop the mischievous sow Rosalia and save the forest’s mushrooms.

    While pursuing an investigation police officer Alex is injured by a mysterious character with a disfigured face. Stuck in hospital, he meets Léo, an eleven-year-old patient who has the ability to leave his body at will. The boy can fly and pass through walls like a phantom, invisible to all. Thanks to Léo, Alex, along with the intrepid journalist Marie, can assume the roles of guardian angels. The disfigured gangster is threatening the city. Although the policeman is stuck in his wheelchair, the boy can go anywhere he chooses. Alex can continue his investigation, with Léo acting as his eyes and legs.

    The city has many faces. Busy streets, shopping passageways, historical centre. The city, however, is also made by its people. Nový Prostor is a street paper sold by people as a part of social rehabilitation in streets of Czech Republic. Zdeněk, one of the people selling this magazine, stands in front of National Theatre every day. In a short animated documentary, he talks about his relationship with the place he was assigned with and people he meets there on a daily basis.
