Leopoldo is an old man living in the center of Madrid and he has been going to the same bar every day for the last 12 years. This bar is the last remnant of his old life. When it is shut down, the loneliness he had been avoiding catches up to him in the shape of Mauricio. This humanoid pigeon seems to suffer from verbal diarrhea, and it will try to talk Leopoldo into accepting his fate. Death? No
Clip for the opening song of Lenka Dusilová’s latest album called “River”. The listener in “River” travels through time, space, bloodstream, structure, own history. The river cleans the ballast, eats the bottom so that everything can sink again and one can see things in new contexts. Water becomes the agent of all processes. It opens, cleans, until finally it shows everything.
The film is about the process of unlearning, an act to detach from a system which has formed the basis of the one’s reality for so long. The director, though right-handed, engages both of her hands in the production of this animated film. The learned hand and the other sets out to capture the rhythms of traditional schooling, and in the process breaks free from it. It is a return to the corporeal, to carefully consider each motion in time and its consequence.

Between endless corridor exploration, private schooling and fatherly Mausoleum visits, the brothers never questioned the limits of their world. Until one day, when, obsessed by a strange light, seen by accident, they decide to find the its end.

SHE, the heroine of the film, wakes up in a strange world and sees her contorted reflection in a mirror. SHE also finds a mysterious map that accompanies her during a metaphorical journey in which she has to overcome many adversities to finally reach the end of her road and discover that to be born again, you must first die.
The animated video clip was created as a closing ceremony at UMPRUM in Prague. Four second-year students were challenged to combine their different approaches to visuals and animation itself. The central motifs of the film are the range of cartoon animation and the building of friendship, metaphorically represented in the theme of this work.
The bird in its cage dreams about clouds. This unique film made by the japanese director Hajime Kimura is composed of 2400 images created one by one with Photoshop only using the penbrush tool that gives a blurry hand-painted aesthetic.
