A film beyond the eyelids. In one word: a trip.
A man and a woman are involved in the production of an animated film. He animates by day, she makes and repairs the accessories at night. Behind the scenes, a woman is waiting for her entrance.
In a nameless city populated by featureless residents, which are driven by the energies both alien and insidious, revolving equinox of night and day takes place. Swaying between momentum and dullness, that never-changing cycle is represented by the neon commercials, which command every action of aforementioned residents and create their paradoxical and ouroboric reality.
“The World’s Middlest Fish” is a story about a girl, Ingeborg, who surprisingly gets a lot of attention (and some new dresses) for not doing anything out of the ordinary. Someone else discovers something unusual and interesting about a fish she caught, and as any regular young girl she likes the attention and the positive fuzz she creates.

This film is a reflection of my own life. It is about growing up as a stranger in Czechia. It reflects feelings of generation of young Vietnamese having lived in there since childhood and who speak Czech better than Vietnamese.
