It all started with a power outage.
The Great Wall. At one small window, behind the bars, a man looks resignedly. At the foot of the wall grows a red flower that is unattainable for him. And so the years pass… One spring, the prisoner is released, but now he no longer notices the flower and goes on with his life.A crushed flower remains behind him.
It’s pouring down with rain at the funeral. There’s a lot of crying, too much wine, several woodpeckers and a couple of dreams that fill in the gaps.
A woman is locked in her home with an egg, which she is both attracted to and scared of. She eats the egg, she repents. She kills it. She lets the egg die of hunger.

Although they do not know it, the lives and desires of Magda and Trevor overlap in something that mirrors and indirectly affects each other.
