I came up with the whole story by listening to a foreign radio fm in which a narrator told a story about in a language I didn’t understand. Whilst listening to the piece bit by bit, I was able to feel the atmosphere, I somehow understood what it was about and wanted to translate it to myself.

Most of all he is upset that his favourite perch is shedding its leaves, for him the weather is not to blame and he trys to work out who the true culprit really is. This is the reason that he protects his perch from anything that threatens the status quo, but try as he might he is unable to avert this inevitable march of time.
