The film was made on the theme of short Slavonic couplets that are still sung today in Slavonia. Two girls, one rich, the other poor and more beautiful, love the same guy. The guy is a little hesitant, but still decides to go with the poor girl. Although the rich woman is insulted, she is quickly comforted by another, moustached, groom.
