Song of the Sea tells the story of Ben and his little sister Saoirse – the last Seal-child – who embark on a fantastic journey across a fading world of ancient legend and magic in an attempt to return to their home by the sea. The film takes inspiration from the mythological Selkies of Irish folklore, who live as seals in the sea but become humans on land.

Song of a Toad is the story about a stressed out human being who is carrying his unloved childhood right on his head – an old choleric toad. As a prisoner of his own grown-up situation, he tries to ignore this grumpy childhood talking from above, but one day he is confronted with something he almost forgot.
In this terrifying tale of childhood brutality, just watch how the lead character’s face changes from a pockfaced villain to a scared kid as he wrestles with his anger and doubt, and surely you’ll remember a time when you did something wrong and knew you couldn’t stop yourself.

The child arrives at the doors of time, where the dead disappear, and the living let them go. The child is afraid, he enters a forest of symbols and memories. He grows up. His illusions of children dissolve and mingle with the landscape.

On time, darkness, thoughts and emotions inspired by Višeslav Šošić’s text, Laura Martinović spontaneously creates and combines elements of a tree, person, dream, excitement, inner flame, sorrow, loneliness, claustrophobia, isolation, inspiration, alienation, search, creation, individual, community, city.
The fragments of information scatter among the computer and Internet, and constitute the world of Red and Blue. When they meet each other, their face look so red, but whether their moods are a little blue?
