Stationed in an abandoned stable nearby and suddenly awoken by the echo of the battle raging at the castle, Lino and his squad set out on a journey to aid their comrades as fast as they can.

Individual frames of the film, mapping the history of processing wood from the dawn of civilisation until the present were gradually carved into a single piece of wood. The wood-carving animation is supplemented by stop-motion animation of objects which fall out of the block of wood one by one.
