A clean, colorful animation about a woman who loves cats. Yay? I’m always game for pretty aesthetics, and the internet loves cats, but Catherine, via its pitch, hardly feels essential. However dear viewer, this Belgian short film hides a secret.
One day, a giant cat was found in the middle of the forest. It snored so loudly, yet its breath was as gentle and soft as its fur. People were so fond of the cat that, gradually, an entire city grew around it.
It is nice and fun to have a cat or some other pet at home to play with. The trusting cat also thought to himself: it’s so great to have a home… Until the moment it found itself trapped in a bag, somewhere out on the street, all alone, left to it’s faith. Nevertheless – all is well that ends well!
The film shows what can happen duringan ordinary school trip to a museum. The hero – a small boy experiences crazy adventures due to his mischievousideas but it doesn’t change him anyway.

The film is based on the old folk song »DOČEPALE GA SE«. Captain Arbanas Marko wakes up from a drunken hangover, his head has no strength, but as soon as he manages to stand on his feet, he grabs the cat, which magically restores his strength. He is again the bravest, the strongest, like yesterday, he kills the ox with one stroke of the cat. His presence gave strength to the boys of the ball, which reverberated over three hills and valleys. Across three hills and a valley where three beautiful sisters live, where Arbanas rushes madly, promises them and brings them to his drunken company as a trophy. Marko falls again at the mamuran mountain from which three white knights will impale him on the cross. Marko still manages to see who the three white knights are at the posthumous bully…
