One trip of an urban loner seeking inner peace among blocks, garages and parking lots of Prague suburbs, oscillating between the calmness of abandoned underground vestibuls and an earthquake, between a grawl and a choir singing.
We follow the story of five immigrants in Budapest, two of whom still live here as refugees. We touch upon various levels of their life – from the banal to the serious. In economic theory, “random walk” means that stock market prices cannot be predicted. Each time, the price has a fifty-fifty chance of closing higher or lower than the previous day. It means that we don’t know how – or where the life of these people going further.

The animation was laser engraved directly onto 35mm Black Lead film as part of an elaborated technical manufacturing process.

While protecting his village from a rampaging boar-god, the young warrior Ashitaka becomes afflicted with a deadly curse. To find the cure that will save his life, he journeys deep into sacred depths of the Great Forest Spirit’s realm where he meets San (Princess Mononoke), a girl raised by wolves. It’s not long before Ashitaka is caught in the middle of a battle between iron-ore prospecting humans and the forest dwellers. He must summon the spirit-powers and all his courage to stop man and nature from destroying each other.
