Synopsis:
The animation, that was made to celebrate International Women’s Day, depicts powerful goddesses from different cultures, religions and mythologies.

Sweet Like Lemons (2023) is a visual reflection on getting out of a harmful relationship and moving on. The title is a play on the saying “when life gives you lemons make lemonade”, only in this case there is no lemonade to be made but the lemons still taste sweeter than what you left behind.

Aamuhämärä is my animation for the Rhythmanalysis elective at Royal College of Art. Aamuhämärä is the Finnish word for dawn, but directly translated it means morning-dusk/-darkness/-gloom, which captures the feeling I wanted to visualize in my animation.
